Rob Emanuele is the Vice President of Research and Development at Azavea, leading up their efforts around applying deep learning and big data processing techniques to geospatial data. He is a core developer of the GeoTrellis and Raster Vision open source projects, a OSGeo charter member, and a member of the LocationTech Project Management Committee.

Azavea is a B corporation with a mission to advance the state of the art in geospatial technology and apply it for civic, social, and environmental impact.
