Dalton Lunga

Staff Geospatial Image R&D Scientist, Oak Ridge National Laboratory

Dr. Dalton Lunga is a geospatial and artificial intelligence scientist with the Geographic Information Sciences and Technology Group. His research interests are in general machine learning for computer vision, manifold learning with scalable deep learning for feature extraction, and workflows for solving big data problems in remote sensing applications. His technical background includes image processing, statistical machine learning, remote sensing, and geospatial data analysis. He received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana in 2012.
