Christoph Koettl is a senior video journalist at The New York Times, specializing in geospatial and open-source research. He is an expert on armed conflicts, human rights and social media research and verification. He previously was part of Amnesty International’s Crisis Response Team, where he founded and edited the Citizen Evidence Lab.
