Chris is the Head of Data for Mapbox, working on the delivery of data products, data services, and spatial computing.

Chris holds a Masters in Geography from the University of Maryland where he worked on the Global Landcover Facility Project and later was a Principle at MITRE for defense, aviation, and domestic agency research and development projects.

Before joining Mapbox, Chris was a Senior Engineering Manager at Apple. He was responsible for leading teams that developed Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence approaches to data collection, evaluation, and introspection.
